In addition to the four academies, the Association of Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences also includes the Centre for Excellence TA-SWISS and other scientific networks. With the Federal Law on Research as a basis, a performance agreement with the Swiss Confederation, represented by the State Secretariat for Education and Research, regulates framework conditions and primary guidelines and objectives.
