Project development
From idea to project
TA-SWISS follows current trends in technology and science. It does so by constant and forward-looking observations of different themes. The subject for a potential project is the result of the monitoring process.
- Monitoring
Individual monitoring by TA-SWISS collaborators defines specific topics for internal expert discussion. From there, the office makes proposals for projects to the TA-SWISS Steering Committee. The aim of the monitoring process is to become aware early on of controversial applications and developments relevant to social policy.
- TA-SWISS projects come into being either in cooperation with experts (studies) or with citizens (citizens’ reports). In addition, TA-SWISS also deals with methodology; it questions its own working methods and uses methodology projects to reflect on its own methods. Further information can be found under:
- Communication of results
Another key aspect of the work of TA-SWISS is the communication of the results of projects to politicians, scientists and public interest groups.
