Founded in 1992, the Centre for Technology Assessment TA-SWISS acts as an advisory body, supporting Parliament and the Federal Council in the political decision-making process. The archive contains all projects completed since 2000, grouped according to the following topics:

• Biotechnology and medicine
• Nanotechnology
• Nutrition
• Information society
• Transport
• Methodology

Over the years, an impressive library has been built up. Some of the individual documents are available electronically, or can be obtained from the TA-SWISS office.
